摘要:The continuous input and degradation of organic matter are crucial for soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration during stand development. However, it remains unclear how stand age affects the patterns and determinants of plant residues and microbial necromass. Using SOC-normalized content of lignin phenols and amino sugars to investigate the relative lignin and microbial necromass carbon contribution to SOC in a chronosequence of Pinus massoniana plantations with 6, 13, 29, 38, and 57-year stands that was arrange by the method of space-for-time substitution approach in subtropical China. The SOC-normalized content of lignin increased at first and then decreased along in stand age (R2 = 0.54, P ? 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
