摘要:澳大利亚将可持续发展的理念贯穿于人工林培育、经营与木材加工中,采用创新技术与设备提升了人工林木材的加工效率,扩大了人工林木材的利用范围,经济效益显著提高。笔者赴澳大利亚进行实地考察后,对其锯材加工的原材料及设备、工艺等经验进行了归纳,供国内木材加工企业借鉴。
Efficient and economical utilization of the plantation forest is an effective way to improve forest management and promote long-term sustainability. This paper reviewed current development and technology of plantation forest management and wood product industry in Australia. A creative technique (called radial sawing), developed in Australia to improve productivity and add value to the plantation forest, was described. The new technique could increase the process efficiency by 25%, decrease residual stresses, and improve product dimensional stability. Successful plantation forest management and efficient sawing-process technology in Australia can be a good reference to the Chinese wood product industry.
