摘要:Fire is a major disturbance in Daxing'anling Mountain in China, affecting ecosystem carbon cycle significantly. However, the return of forest productivity at regional scale in high fire disturbance has not been well documented and understood. The objective of this paper was to evaluate remote sensing driven 3-PG model for simulating the forest recovery in high-intensity burnt areas. Differences in productivity among sites were accounted for by only changing the values of fertility rating and climate condition which calculated from remote sensing data. The adapted model performed well in the experimental plots, and accurately estimated above ground biomass and diameter growth. Then, a case study was conducted on the 2001 burnt area, and NDVI images simulation used for validating the effectiveness of the model in a large scale area.
