摘要：于 1 996年和 1 999年 2次在海南省儋州市雅星林场进行柚木引种试验 ,初步结果表明 :柚木很适合在该地区栽培 ,首次引种林木已 5年生 ,树高和胸径生长量分别达到 7.6 0m和 8.54cm ,年平均生长量为 1 .52m和 1 .71cm ,其树高和胸径的生长曲线趋势还处于上升阶段 ;第二次引种林木 2年生 ,树高和胸径平均生长量分别为 4 .53m和 4 .33cm ,年平均生长量在 2 .0m和 2 .0cm以上。
Two trials have been successively implemented to introduce teak to Yaxing Forest Farm of Danzhou City, Hainan Province since 1996. From preliminary observation, it is shown that teak is very suitable for cultivation in this area. In the first trial, teak trees have not met growth peak yet when five years old, with their height and diameter at breast height reaching up to 7.60 m and 8.54 cm respectively. The trees in the second trial are two years old, and their annual mean height and diameter at breast height are above 2.0 m and 2.0 cm respectively. Some suggestions are also provided for development of large scale plantations of this species in Hainan Province.\;
