摘要:In this study, Russula subpunctipes sp. nov. collected from Hubei Province, central China, is described and illustrated based on both morphological data and phylogenetic analysis. It is characterized by a sulfur yellow to honey yellow pileus, a cracked cuticle and margin, a tuberculate-striate pileus margin, a henna lamellar edge, henna warts on the hollow stipe and a faint fragrant odor. Both molecular and morphological analyses consistently placed R. subpunctipes in the Russula section Foetentinae. The morphological differences among R. subpunctipes and closely related taxa are discussed.
