Abstract With new and high techniques, Israel uses science and technology in practices to exploit and use the limited water and land resources for combatting desertification and developing forestry. The techniques and measures for controlling and developing desert land were detailed in the paper, which includes Savannization,Action plan Negev, Soil crust formation, Water techniques, Fertigation, Solar energy utilization and Hothouse production.
