摘要：棕榈藤是热带和南亚热带森林宝库中的多用途植物资源,原藤是仅次于木材和竹材的重要林产品,具有重要的经济价值。本文综述了棕榈藤资源分布、藤材利用状况及当今藤材研究现状,并展望了藤材研究和利用的发展方向。开发藤材高附加值应用新领域以及有效利用藤材加工剩余物,实现藤材综合利用是今后工作的重点,这对藤资源和产业的发展具有重要意义。
Rattan is the multipurpose plant resources found in the forests in tropical and south subtropical regions. Rattan canes are important forest products only second to timber and bamboo timber, thus of great economic value. This paper reviews the distribution of rattan resources, and the utilization and present research of rattan canes as well as direction for rattan cane development. The key of the future work is to develop new field of rattan canes with high added value and make effective use of residues from rattan canes processing so that the compre- hensive utilization of rattan canes will be achieved, which is of great significance for the development of rattan resources and its industry.
