摘要:林草复合生态系统是指由多年生木本植物(乔木、灌木等)与草本植物在空间上有机结合(长期或短期)形成的多物种、多层次、多时序和多产业复合的植被生态系统。水分是干旱半干旱地区林草复合系统植物生长、分布及植被恢复的主要限制因子。综合分析基于稳定同位素的林草复合生态系统的水循环过程国内外研究进展,对高效利用林草自然资源、提高林草植被生产力、保护生物多样性和改善生态环境等都有重要意义。碳氢氧稳定同位素是存在于天然水体和植物组织中良好的示踪剂,具有较高的灵敏度和准确性,可系统和定量地阐明林草复合生态系统的水循环过程、植物水分利用率、水分利用效率和利用格局,揭示其对全球气候变化的响应机制等。文中概述稳定同位素的基本原理,重点综述氢氧稳定同位素在林草复合生态系统水文过程(包括大气降水、地表水、土壤水、地下水、植物水及蒸发水等)中的应用以及碳稳定同位素应用于植物水分利用效率中的国内外进展,指出了当前在这些林草复合生态系统水循环过程、植被与水循环相互作用机理等方面研究中存在的不足,展望其应用前景。未来研究重点是运用稳定同位素技术,系统地分析和量化气候变化和人为活动对林草复合系统水循环过程和碳水相互作用的影响机制。
Mixed tree-grass ecosystem described a complex vegetation ecosystem with multi-species structure,multi-spatial distribution,multi-temporal sequence and multi-industry purpose,which was composed by short-term or long-term coexistence of perennial woody plants(trees,shrubs,etc.)and herbs.Water is the main limiting factor for the growth and distribution of plants,and vegetation restoration in the mixed tree-grass ecosystem in arid and semi-arid areas.It was critical to comprehensively analyze the water cycle process of mixed tree-grass ecosystems assisted by stable isotope,which could efficiently contribute to improving vegetation productivity,protecting biodiversity and optimizing ecological environment.As natural tracers in water molecules and plant tissues,the carbon,hydrogen and oxygen stable isotopes showed high sensitivity and accuracy,which could systematically and quantitatively clarify water cycle process,water use efficiency and strategy of plants in mixed tree-grass ecosystems,and reveal the responses of vegetation in mixed tree-grass ecosystems to global climate change.This paper summarized the basic principles of stable isotopes,and overviewed the progresses in the applications of hydrogen and oxygen stable isotopes in the hydrological processes(including precipitation,surface water,soil water,groundwater,plant water,evaporation water,etc.)of mixed tree-grass ecosystems and the applications of carbon stable isotopes in plant water use efficiency.We further pointed out the problems in the study of water cycle process and interaction mechanism between plant and water in a mixed tree-grass ecosystem.It is the future challenge that systematically analyzing and quantifying the impacts of climate change and human activities on water cycle process and carbon water interaction in mixed tree-grass ecosystems using stable isotope.
