摘要：本文介绍了国外林业行政机构的现状，分析了其演变趋势和特点，总结了演变中的历史教益。
Abstract The governments of many countries pay much attention on the issues how to set up forestry administrative institutions, how to do their duty and how to play roles in the sustainable development of forestry and society. The author holds that the setting up of forestry administrative institution should depend on their target or tasks, the political, economical and social development level and speed as well as the conditions of their country and forestry. It is necessary to constantly adjust and improve the arrangement, target and function of forestry administrative institutions. The development trend and characteristics of forestry administrative institution abroad the lessons obtained in the process of development are presented.
