摘要:The Yellow River Basin, an integral component of China's "two screens and three belts" ecological security strategy, has achieved significant progress through years of comprehensive and systematic governance efforts. The Three-North Shelter Forest Program (TNSFP), a prominent initiative in China's ecological civilization construction, has played a crucial role in preserving the ecological stability of the Yellow River Basin. This paper employs economic research methods and utilizes the difference -indifferences model to effectively isolate and quantify the impact of the TNSFP on the ecological benefits of the Yellow River Basin. By enhancing the causal identification between the governance of the TNSFP and the effectiveness of ecological governance in the Yellow River Basin, this study offers valuable insights and recommendations for the forthcoming phases of the TNSFP.
