摘要：对落羽杉属树种分布、形态特征、开花结实、生长、适应性、遗传变异和主要用途等进行了概述。介绍了我国和世界引种的概况以及对该属遗传变异研究的主要成果，我国“八五”科技攻关以来对落羽杉属种源、家系的变异，优质种源、家系和无性系选育研究的主要进展。
The article presents the recent derelopment of the genetic improvement in Genus Taxodium in Jiangsu China. Some progreses have been made in the selection of fine provenances and families in the Genus. A brief description of the distribution, morphological character, reproduction, growth, adaptability,pests and diseases of the Genus is also given by the authors in the article.
