摘要:The gluing performance of bamboo scrimber is an important factor in the application to large-scale engineering constructions. The bamboo scrimber with different sanding mesh and density was prepared by cold-pressed and then glued by polyurethane resin. The shear strength and immersion peel strength are analyzed as parameter to determine the gluing properties. The results showed that at density of 1.15g/cm3, the bonding performance of the material increased first and then decreased as the increasing number of sanding meshes . Under 120-mesh sanding, the bonding strength increased with the increase of density. As the density increased, the bamboo fiber distribution inside the material became tighter, and the resin distribution was more uniform. Thus, the surface pores and roughness were reduced, where the adhesive was concentrated on the surface, contributing for the glue nails penetrating into the material surface. In general, the best bonding performance was achieved under the conditions of 120 mesh sanding and density of 1.15g/cm3. ? 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.
