摘要:为提升聚醋酸乙烯酯(PVAc)胶黏剂的耐水性能,采用柠檬酸(CA)对PVAc乳液进行改性,制备了CA改性PVAc胶黏剂(PVAc-CA)。采用SEM对CA改性PVAc乳液的粒子形貌进行了表征,通过XRD、FTIR、TGA、DSC以及吸水率、接触角测试考察了CA加入量(以PVAc乳液质量计,下同)对CA改性PVAc胶膜结构、热稳定性和疏水性能的影响。将CA改性PVAc胶黏剂用于胶合板黏合,测试了其胶合强度。结果表明,CA能够与PVAc中的羟基发生反应,但对胶黏剂的结晶度影响不大;CA的添加可以提高PVAc的耐热性能;CA加入量为5%制备的PVAc-CA5胶膜的玻璃化转变温度从PVAc-CA0胶膜(即PVAc胶膜)胶膜的39.2℃提高到41.5℃;PVAc-CA5胶膜的吸水率最低,为7.7%,水接触角最大,为86.9°;经PVAc-CA5胶黏剂黏合的胶合板的湿胶合强度和沸水煮胶合强度分别为1.22和1.08 MPa,比PVAc黏合的胶合板(湿胶合强度0.88 MPa,沸水煮胶合强度0.71 MPa)分别提高了38.6%和52.1%。
In order to improve the water resistance of polyvinyl acetate(PVAc)adhesive,a series of citric acid(CA)-modified PVAc adhesives were prepared,with the morphology was characterized by SEM.The effects of CA addition amount(based on the mass of PVAc emulsion,the same below)on the structure,thermal stability and hydrophobic properties of CA modified PVAc coating were analyzed by XRD,FTIR,TGA,DSC,water absorption and contact angle measurements.The CA modified PVAc adhesive was used to bond plywood for evaluation on its bonding strength.The results showed that while CA reacted with hydroxyl groups in PVAc,it displayed little effect on the crystallinity of adhesive.The addition of CA improved the heat resistance of PVAc,and the PVAc-CA5 coating prepared with 5%addition amount of CA had a glass transition temperature increased from 39.2℃(PVAc-CA0 coating)to 41.5℃,the lowest water absorption of 7.7%,and the highest water contact angle of 86.9°.The wet bonding strength and boiling water bonding strength of plywood reached 1.22 and 1.08 MPa,increased by 38.6%and 52.1%,respectively,in comparison to that of PVAc bonded plywood(wet bonding strength 0.88 MPa,boiling bonding strength 0.71 MPa).
